New for 2020-21: each student must bring a personal container of hand sanitizer and two or more face masks (COVID-19 Health and Safety: Selecting and using face masks in a non-health care setting).

The Introduction to Weather course is a classroom-based course. Come prepared with your laptop, power cable, student manual and pen/notepaper. As this is a classroom course and most of you will be used to being active during your day, mentally prepare yourself for a classroom setting and come to class having exercised in the morning or plan to exercise at lunch if needed. Snacks and drinks should be organized in advance and brought to class. There is a lunch break but it is not long so having a prepared lunch is beneficial.

Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the course location. Carpooling is only recommended for students who are from the same household.

There are a lot of options for accommodation in Revelstoke. You can search Tourism Revelstoke for information on local hostels, hotels, motels, campgrounds, and B & B’s.
