InfoEx Subscriber Information (International)

Built by Canada’s Avalanche Community – Ready to help practitioners around the world.

What is International InfoEx?

Canada’s professional community of avalanche workers record avalanche data, work as teams to assess hazard, and determine operational decisions. This is possible with CAA’s InfoEx – a leading edge web app designed with the wisdom of hundreds of practitioners input.

Visiting professionals inquired about using InfoEx in operations outside Canada and the CAA responded with International InfoEx. Our international platform allows operations to choose with whom they would like to share data, or simply to use the platform for its record keeping, workflow and risk management features. Learn more about InfoEx’s capabilities.

Who should use International InfoEx?

Does your operation need to:

·         Keep professional records of avalanche related data?

·         Document your avalanche hazard?

·         Keep records of diligent avalanche risk management decisions?

If you answered yes, International InfoEx likely has features you will find transformative to the efficiency and clarity of your operations. Learn more.

Share with Trusted Partners – or Not

Having more quality data is always valuable to avalanche practitioners working to understand the spatial variability of avalanche problems. Nevertheless, exchange of data within International InfoEx is not mandatory.  As a risk manager, you are best positioned to know who you trust and whose data is relevant to assist your avalanche risk management decisions. International InfoEx lets you decide who you share data with based on your needs and relationships. Where you have local or regional partners that are ready to join you sharing data, CAA staff are ready to help you share data to begin to tackle regional avalanche problems.
