Students cannot participate on courses prior to signing the release of liability and waiver.

Students are required to complete a release of liability and waiver at the start of each course. A link to these documents is found below. Please note the document has two pages:

The Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) is a process that allows individuals to gain recognition for their prior learning. The learning may be formal, informal, or experiential. The PLA process provides a template for determining whether an applicant has the training and experience necessary to:

a) Waive a CAA course prerequiste; or

b) Earn a CAA course certificate through equivalency

 The following are the 2024-25 retest fees:

* Additional fees may apply to private retests: Administration fees & Instructor Costs (mileage, meals, accommodation & lift tickets.)

* Retest fees will be subject to change according to the number of participants.

The CAA recommends that students purchase cancellation/trip interruption insurance for courses that involve hut-based accommodation.
