Reference Forms
To be or not to be….a reference: Recommending an applicant for a CAA course or PLA application is a serious responsibility.
To be or not to be a reference? You’ll want to ask yourself this before committing your signature to paper as a referee (person who completes a reference letter) for a person submitting an application for an Industry Training Program course or Prior Learning
Assessment (PLA). The CAA relies on outside information to be able to assess whether a person is ready for the next step in their career and learning. As a referee you provide valuable information to help with this process. Make sure you
are being honest and current with your responses in the reference letter. Applicants will not see the reference letter you submit, nor do we discuss reference letters with them.
It is recommended you use Google Chrome to submit the online form.
