AGM Voting Procedures

As noted in the 21-day notice sent on April 11, 2022, our voting procedures will vary for procedural and substantive votes.

For all substantive matters requiring a vote (election of directors, special resolutions, members dues etc), both members attending electronically and those in person are eligible to vote (technical details below).

For other matters such as (approving the agenda, approving previous minutes, motion to close the meeting etc.) the chair of the meeting will count the votes of those attending in person only. Those attending electronically may participate in the discussion around these procedural matters. Where there is a dispute the Chair of the meeting will determine how to proceed.

Technical Voting Details:

• Hyperlinks are only open to voting members (reminder: Affiliate and Associate members cannot vote).
• Only members attending virtually should vote via these links.
  
• Voting members attending in person will have their votes registered by show of hands or ballot depending on the vote.
• To vote, you must be logged in as an individual member and not as your organization.
• Only one vote per link per member will be counted. Multiple votes will be discarded.
