2022 Spring Conference Registration

The CAA Spring conference is a mixture of governance, professional development, and technical presentations. This week is costly to run, and the CAA has been clear to the membership about the need to run events on a cost recovery basis. We also need to make sure members do not face cost barriers when engaging in the governance of the association. The complexities of offering a hybrid in-person/online meeting mean additional costs for the CAA. Unlike a fully virtual meeting, integrating online and in-person participation requires substantial technical support overhead to deliver the event. Pricing has been chosen with the aim of cost recovery for the event.

It is important for members to understand what portion of the week is free to members, and what parts of the week are supported by the attendance fee.

Free to all CAA members:

•  The Annual General Meeting

•  Avalanche Canada's AST Meetings

Events supported by the attendance fee:

•  The Case Studies and Research Sessions

Members

• Case studies and research sessions regardless of in-person or virtual are $45 for members
• For member pricing, you must be a Member in Good Standing. 
• As always attendance at the annual general meeting is free.
• Recordings of sessions will be available in the Members Only section of our website in the weeks after the Spring Conference. You do not need to purchase a ticket to access these recordings. Tickets are for live attendance only. 
• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
