AvSAR L1 is the first stage of the CAA's Industry Training Program and a prerequisite for Avalanche Operations Level 1. This course focuses on fundamental AvSAR concepts and techniques essential to snow and avalanche workers. NOTE: if you already have an Avalanche Operations Level 1 certification, you do NOT have to complete AvSAR L1.
