Introduction to Avalanche Operations is a prerequisite for Avalanche Operations Level 1 and is also available to anyone interested in learning more about avalanche safety in a professional context. This course provides a foundation for further learning across a variety of topics, including mountain weather, mountain snowpack, and avalanche terrain fundamentals.

If you have already registered for an Avalanche Operations Level 1 course, you DO NOT need to register for this Intro course separately. The cost of this online course is built into your Ops 1 course fees. All Ops 1 registrants will be emailed directions on how to enroll in this course separately.
